Consultant Medical Oncologist
Dr Amna Sheri is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Royal Free Hospital, she graduated from Imperial college, London in 2004 and having trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital was appointed as Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital specialising in the management of Breast Cancer and Melanoma in 2015.
She has a clinical interest in managing all aspects of systemic therapy for Breast Cancer and Melanoma including:
Adjuvant therapy
Neo-adjuvant therapy
Treatment of Secondary breast cancer
Breast Cancer in young women
Novel biological and targeted therapies
Immunotherapy
Her research has focused on understating the use of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in early breast cancer and she was awarded and MD(Res) from the Institute of Cancer Research for her work into the prediction of outcome following neo-adjuvant therapy. She has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings.
Clinically her main research interests are in clinical trials of new therapies in Breast Cancer and Melanoma.
