Consultant Oncologist
Dr Sarah Needleman qualified from University College London in 2002. She completed her oncology training in some of the most respected cancer hospitals including UCLH, St Bartholomew’s, Royal Free and Mount Vernon and has obtained an MSc in oncology and published oncological manuscripts related to breast and pelvic malignancy.
She is a consultant clinical oncologist specialising in radiotherapy for breast and urological malignancies and the radiotherapy departmental lead. Additionally, she is principal investigator for various breast and urological cancer trials and is committed to delivering high quality, individualised patient care.
Dr Needleman is passionate about education and has been awarded two education fellowships at UCL medical school and the Royal College of Radiologists. She has undertaken medical educational research, published related manuscripts, completed a postgraduate certification in education and been awarded a fellowship to higher education academy. She is director of medical education for postgraduate training and is the royal college tutor at the Royal Free Hospital.
Dr Needleman was selected for a leadership fellowship programme, organised and presented at national education and leadership conferences and has been an active member of the RCR and held various committee roles.
