Consultant Medical Oncologist
Dr Sonia Mansukhani is a Consultant Medical Oncologist in The Royal Freeโs Uro-Oncology Unit. Dr Mansukhani specialises in the treatment of patients with bladder, upper tract urothelial and advanced prostate cancers. Dr Mansukhani graduated from Barts and the London, Queen Mary University of London with first-class honours in Molecular Therapeutics (BMedSci). She undertook general medical training at a number of London NHS Trusts and completed higher specialist training in Medical Oncology at The Royal Marsden. She completed a PhD, funded by Cancer Research UK, at the Institute of Cancer Research focused on developing circulating tumour DNA technology and novel combination therapeutics.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Mansukhani has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications. Her research interests are focused on earlier phase clinical trials, novel therapeutics/technologies and the delivery of individualised medicine to patients with urological cancers. She promotes patient advocacy, involvement and shared decision making in the clinic.
