Miss Rampat is an award-winning Consultant ophthalmic surgeon, specialising in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery - with 13 years of experience in Ophthalmology. She was honoured to be named one of the 'Top 10 Rising Stars in Ophthalmology' globally in 2023 by The Ophthalmologist Magazine.

Miss Rampat completed an Executive MBA Programme, graduating as a Physician CEO from Kellogg School of Management, USA last year.

She is based primarily at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust as well as being an Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust. She also practices privately, including offering refractive surgery at betterview UK.

She completed Research fellowships in prestigious institutions including Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins (USA) & Rothschild Foundation Hospital (Paris). She has over 34 Publications and over 50 Presentations both nationally and internationally.

After attaining a Clinical distinction from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical school, she went on to complete a competitive Ophthalmology training in London at Royal Free, Western Eye and Moorfields. She was chosen to be Chief-resident during both her Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Fellowships at Moorfields.

Miss Rampat is the founder and Chair of the AECOS Green Working Group (GWG), an international sustainability group and has already made an impact locally reducing plastic waste and reducing unnecessary costs. She is also the RFL lead for the Single point of access initiative in North Central London, improving access to eyecare for patients.
