Consultant Gynaecologist
Mr Abiodun Fakokunde is a Consultant Gynaecologist and has been a consultant for twenty years. Clinical interest is related to fibroid management, and he lead the fibroid care services at the North Middlesex University Hospital. Mr Abiodun Fakokunde is certified in Colposcopy and Minimal Access Surgery. Clinical interest includes – menstrual problems, vulva and cervical abnormalities, pelvic pain and endometriosis, and fertility assessment. He previously served as the Clinical Director for Obstetrics and gynaecology at the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust and now is the risk lead for gynaecology services at the unit. He is also the regional RCOG preceptor for benign gynaecology surgery trainees at the London Deanery.
Mr Abiodun Fakokunde is an honorary associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the St George’s Medical school Granada.
He also give talks to the public on reproductive surgery, and management of fibroids.
Mr Abiodun Fakokunde is married with two grown up children. In his spare time, he enjoy playing golf and currently playing at handicap 18 but hoping for improvement. He also enjoy traveling especially when it includes golf.
