Mr Jamie McConnell is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr McConnell qualified from Cambridge University and after completing basic surgical training, he joined the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital training programme. He joined the specialist register as a trauma & orthopaedic surgeon in 2016 and proceeded to two yearsβ fellowship training in Cheshire and Warwick.
He has an interest in clinical research and has published several peer-reviewed academic papers on topics related to safer surgery and reduction of blood loss.
He holds a Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Management, awarded by the Chartered Management Institute and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, awarded by Queenβs University, Belfast.
