Consultant Urological Surgeon

Mr Raj Kucheria has been a consultant since 2012 after completing his urology specialist training from Imperial rotation where he was also awarded the Simpson Travelling Fellowship. He has a specialist interest in managing kidney stones, urinary infections, prostate enlargement, erectile problems and urological cancers.

Since 2014 he has also been appointed as clinical lead to integrate the inpatient and acute patient care for the urology department across all three sites.

Away from work, he has an avid interest in music both contemporary and modern classical. He is also a keen player of Badminton and 5-a-side football.

Mr Kucheria has various publications for urological conditions and has research experience into recurrent urinary tract infection which he carried out at Guy's Hospital. He is on the faculty of various national and international workshops in stone management and speciality training.
